XXYYXX – About You (Giordani Remix)

Super heavy flip of a timeless cult classic; blaze one up and put your headphones on for this one. Giordani serves up the bass with a heavy dose of rhythmic poise. It’s always a treat when producers combine the silky smooth vibes associated with chill future bass and the swung hip-hop aesthetic that this beat has. Very unique indeed.

Looking forward to some awesome new sounds by the up-and-comer!

Opia – Falling (Wheathin Redo)

Wheathin is one of those young producers who can do no wrong. Creating innovative beats in the vein of Flume and other exceedingly unique dance/hip hop music producers.

The guy has been killing it with one remix after another. With no real big label support, it’s obvious that his undeniable talent has been carrying him forward into a world of widespread love for the sounds he’s creating and it’s awesome to watch him grow and continue to make awesome music.

Very excited to hear some originals. I wonder if we can expect an EP or some sort of release in the near future? Stay tuned.

Check out his latest:

[FC Premiere] Sam Feldt – Hungry Eyes

Sam Feldt has been busy creating smooth sounds; sounds that raise emotions and sounds that bring energy to the table and suit many different moods and vibes.

I’m very pleased to announce that we’ve brought to you a first listen at Sam’s newest release, titled Hungry Eyes.

It’s crazy how such a DJ compatible artist can make such a beautiful radio-friendly tune that would fit just fine on som of the chill playlists that I’v been jamming recently.

Without further adieu – check out Hungry Eyes by Sam Feldt!

Turnt Up Tuesdays.

Once again we’re back with a small burst of bass fueled energy to keep your spirits high as we pass through the middle of the week. Tonight I’ve compiled some tracks that caught my eye that range from trap to future bass, with melodic in-betweens.

Tons of free downloads here to the delight of your iPods. Check it out!

ADAM K & SLANDER – BREATHE (ft. Matthew Steeper & Haliene)

SLANDER have been crushing the trap festival scene and their most recent release is no exception to the madness. Including collaborations with NGHTMRE as well as other large names under their belt, the duo is poised to head out on a spring tour of EU, US, and Mexico.

This tune popped into my feed and I just had to fanboy out and share, I think you’ll dig too:

Gill Bondy – So Alive

Hayden Stewart, aka Gill Bondy of Toronto’s Bedroomer collective has been releasing pop melodies in the vein of inspirational heavyweights Washed Out, Ariel Pinks Haunted Graffiti, etc.

Gill Bondy - So Alive [AKA Hayden Stewart of Bedroomer Collective]

Gill Bondy – So Alive [AKA Hayden Stewart of Bedroomer Collective]

Coming in hot just yesterday, the young singer/songwriter has blessed us with a pop ballad that is sure to catch the eye of both producers and listeners alike.

Always chasing that summertime vibe, the song reminds us that better weather and good times are just around the corner (the weather is shit in this corner of the world, currently). Great song. Full support.

LVNDSCAPE & Holland Park Feat. Nico Santos – Waterfalls

Deep house seems like the type of music that couldn’t possibly go out of style. It’s a pretty magical thing when a song makes crowds of people want to move, and this new shaker from LVNDSCAPE & Holland fits the bill to a tee. Delicately layered and beautifully bassy, the tune is the perfect pick-me-up for a wednesday evening when you’re just trying to chill out and forget about your worries.

Nico Santos hits hard with that Justin Bieber vibe, and I’m into it (big Bilieber, for sure).

Enjoy!

Mondaze; a playlist.

Here it is. My definitive mix geared towards starting your Monday off right.

NO MORE PARTIES IN L.A. FEAT. KENDRICK LAMAR (CLEAN)

Reforget (Milk N Cooks Remix)

Manila Killa – All That’s Left (feat. Joni Fatora)

The Knocks – Classic (Wildfire Remix)

Oliver Nelson Ft. Heir – Found Your Love (Two Can Remix)

Jean-Michel Jarre & Little Boots – If..! (Proppa Remix)

Chicago based Proppa is making awesome music. Blending his usual progressive styles into a more Flume inspired future vibe, which I find pretty catchy indeed. Can’t wait for this up-and-comer to pop out of the underground scene and make some big moves with the crew, Audisbliss, that he belongs to.
