DVBBS, Nelly Furtado – Torture of the Heart

Pairing one of Canada’s most successful electronic acts with one of its biggest global pop exports was a natural fit. “Torture of the Heart” feels like a meeting of two different eras of Canadian music.

Tomoyoshi – Kick A Hole In The Speaker (DUB)

Tomoyoshi DNB is a Japanese Drum & Bass DJ and producer with serious credentials. After moving to Berlin in 2017, he’s been steadily building his name in the European DNB scene. He’s released on respected labels like Low Down Deep, Original Key, Younggunz, and Eternal Muzic. His style often blends energetic rolling basslines with liquid and neurofunk influences.

Juelz – Motion Detected

It’s the kind of record that makes you want to turn up the volume and check your surroundings — like the bass version of a security system going off. Over the years, Juelz has built a solid reputation in the Canadian bass scene and beyond, with support from major artists and regular plays in high-energy sets.

After Death – Nerve

If your musical tastes lean toward the Euro raveing, then you need to get “Nerve” on your radar. Hosted and released via the Vantek Group (the creative engine behind Vancouver’s thriving underground techno movement), this track is a perfect embodiment of modern, warehouse-ready warehouse techno.

COOKIEE KAWAII – VIBE (DEBBIE CHECKED)

In a sea of remixes, Debbie’s version stands out because it enhances the original’s strengths. It keeps the fun, confident, body-positive energy of Cookiee Kawaii while adding the heavy bass that we crave.

Bessey – Fatal Dose

Diving straight out of her massive new EP, Somn Like Dis, the standout track “Fatal Dose” is exactly what the title implies a lethal, addictive dose of pure energy. “Fatal Dose” sits beautifully as a standout within the Somn Like Dis EP, which also features high-profile collaborations like “Feelings” with AK RENNY.

Wax Motif – Something More

While the 14-track record is absolutely stacked with massive global features—ranging from Ty Dolla $ign and DJ Jazzy Jeff to ZHU—it’s the solo cuts where Wax Motif truly reminds us of his unmatched prowess. House of Wax II as a whole is a crossover success, but these solo tracks are where the album breathes.

Kermode – musa

Kermode continues to prove why he is one of the most consistent and creative minds in the electronic underground. “Musa” is a beautiful addition to his growing catalog—a track that is equal parts tranquil, moving, and heavy.

GDubz – Levels 140bpm

MalLabel Records continues to champion raw, high-quality bass music, and “Levels” fits perfectly into their catalog. GDubz brings his signature power and presence, creating a track that feels like a statement.
