Jack Glass and Chris Stracey formed Bag Raiders in Sydney in 2006. By the late 2000s they were already making waves with early EPs and the breakout single “Shooting Stars. Reaching Monstercat in 2026, twenty years after they started, underlines that consistency. “Ur Type” doesn’t feel like a nostalgic throwback or a desperate reinvention. It simply sounds like Bag Raiders doing what they’ve always done well. Back then IS new basically, and good music is timeless.
