The more I listen to Natural High, the more I feel compelled to tell the world about him. Really, I think the name he chose encompasses what he’s trying to do. I first heard of this French producer when I fell upon his remix of Telepopmusik’s “Smile” in 2012 and it struck a chord in me, made me feel sort of like I was listening to a memory. He speaks this truth on his Soundcloud:
“One of the freshest and most gratifying things about making music is that the music that we make is hopefully synonymies with people’s positive memories. Music is the best art form for capturing the emotion of a time period in someone’s life. To think that our music is that to people, and acts as the soundtrack, however long that might be, is rewarding and kind of exciting.
