“My inspiration comes from my past tumultuous relationships, an alternating sustained childlike idealism with dark cynicism, and I guess, a little nerdiness, combined with dramatic flamboyance liberated by dance and trance rhythms.”

Those are the words of Jonathon Arons, the Grammy-award winning musician behind Tachyon. Along with bandmate James Cage, the NYC-based artist has started making disco-influenced dance pop that could be the alternate-universe soundtrack to Miami Vice. The fresh, unpredictable tunes truly deserve the name Tachyon – a particle that moves faster than the speed of light.
