Crywolf – Ghosts EP

Felt like getting a bitter harder and deeper this evening with some fresh new out of Denver Colorado. The EP, released just yesterday via Always Never Records will indeed open your ears. Once Justin Phillips (Crywolf) steps in, you realize how few an EDM track contains male vocals. Interesting to think how much of a place there IS in the spectrum for male vocals. Even as the spectrum is lacking. My second notion after listening was how profound a role sexism plays in electronica. Not saying that this is negative in anyway (amen boobz), but, it is interesting to think about. And, for that reason alone, Ghosts EP is worth an investigatory listen. You might just like it too.
