John Tavener – The Lamb (BAILE Remix)

Straight from Brooklyn emerges a huge new choir utilizing mood setter. John Tavener’s ‘The Lamb’ is a poem by William Blake, published in Songs of Innocence in 1789 about Christianity. The lamb is used as a common metaphor for Jesus Christ, who is also called “The Lamb of God” in John 1:29. It was later adapted to song by Sir John Tavener.
