Nice, a much less risque by product of Kanye’s Bound 2. Retaining and adding samples to what is being argued as the most like Kanye of his whole album Yeezus. A record that should have seen a winter release in my humble opinion. Listen and reflect with this, the third.

As the intro will inform you, twenty years ago A Tribe Called Quest released their third album ‘Midnight Marauders‘ . The Vancouver Canuck now living and loving across the pond in London pays respect to his favourite Hop Hop/Rap group with nine full reworks. Jim Sharp’s ability to revisit the old and turn in into something fresh and new while retaining the musics originality is uncanny. Ability far too few are able to pull off.
