Even now, after three months ‘DNA’ is in regular play here. House meeting the wobbles first heard when I first started going to raves in the Okanagan is just too deep. As the first official release from Loin Records the ‘Let’s Get It‘ EP of course featuring ‘DNA’ is landmark. True dark and dirty works by 19 year old KGreen. Warsaw’s Leon Lour was also struck enough by the track to put his own spin on. A more Techno version resulted but justice is done and homage paid.

When in doubt about the state of Electronica, look to the Uk. It’s been going on for minute, but the spillage is making it’s way much more readily these days. Deep House, Uk Garage and Bass are getting fushion treatment in only a way that a country that has shaped much of the modern world could. Western culture does include music after all.
