Main Course Records – 10,000 Thanks!

The progress of MCR should be a known thing to any head that claims to be Electronic. The label with three heads itself has let loose an incredible amount of music over the last year for free. Setting a new standard for releases by mainly being consistent. The label is stepping it’s own game up now by releasing it’s whole catalog to date for free in thanks, to it’s fans for taking them to the 10,000 likes mark on Facebook.

Another new new artist I’m really pumped to get in on early. Newcastle’s Addison Hamilton, aka Heizen pulls influence from Bixel Boys, Botnek, Astronomar, Etnik, Madame, and Dog Blood. The Dog Blood/Boys Noize influence pumps through the title track ‘Hunter’ from his latest/debut EP with his new solo project. Amazing stuff, full on techno.

Video: Segilola – Somewhere Along The Line

Not only is today the tenth birthday of Facebook, but this day also marks the 24th release from King Deluxe Records. London’s Segilola has moved to push the new EP ‘Somewhere Along The Line’ with her video to the title Bambooman produced track, an uncommonly non digitally animated King Deluxe video. Direction from silent tapes made the video wonderfully soft and fluid, to both the vocals and production.

The fog of mystery has been well curated around the artist, and conflicting statements do indeed help keep the fog thick.
