Shaun Hettinger has been making moves in the music scene for years now. Currently making transformational sounds in experimental indie / electronic music, I have a lot of respect for this dude due to the visceral nature of his productions – working in film and TV doing compositions for a living, but using Memoryy as his own personal intuitive musical outlet. Living the dream, one would say!
Today, I’m super happy to be privileged enough to bring you guys a first look at his most recent release – Young Oblivion. The tune feature lavish vocal harmonies and instrumentation of varying sorts – all of which blend into a cinematic pop thriller of a tune, sending the listener on many nostalgic but yet futuristic trip through their own mind.

I’ve been on somewhat of an upbeat-house kick lately; maybe it’s just that energetic sort of pick me up that helps get me through the bitter end of winter – but this song is just obviously pretty damn good.
The Golden Pony are one of those rare production duos that can do no wrong. Checking out their vast array of tasteful pop bootlegging, I was pleasantly surprised to find that they had actually re-done a few of my favourite artists, namely Chet Faker.

This mid-February weather’s been getting everyone down. I think we could all use a pick-me-up of one form or another.
Today I bring to you an artist that caught my eye very recently by the name of Memoryy. Though not on my usual playlist rinse, the dude obviously has a knack for creating catchy pop one-liners and melodies that could calm a hyena. For fans of Toro Y Moi and other cult classic synth heroes, his unforgettable melodies will hit you in the sweet spot just in time for the turn of the season into Summer.

The East Coast has some huge tunes rolling through – this week, we’ll be highlighting one of my personal favourites just incase you haven’t been following along for the ride up until this point.
Tyler Giordani boasts a wide arrangement of capabilities in the studio production process and on the DJ stage. Huge sounds up and down from the kid.
His most recent effort, a surprisingly luscious remix of an EDM allstar name – Adventure Club – hits us with his signature wall-of-orgasmic-sound type aesthetic. If you’re a fan of GANZ, Flume, or any other wavey-vibez type sound, you’re going to be a fan of this, for sure.
