I have posted Annabel Jones in the past. The lady has pipes. There is no struggle in the falsetto and every damn word feels effortless. I love it. I am an absolute music snob when it comes down to vocal execution. There is a lot of passable vocals on songs, where the music carries the vocalist enough. During those times I can be like, “meh” I dig it, but you won’t see me talking about the vocalist. This song has something really interesting happening. Right before the drop, a super catchy synth line kicks in. That, in my opinion could even be moved to the very very beginning of the song as a catchy little melody to pull a listener in. And due to this I would normally be bitching at the person submitting, asking them why they didn’t start the song off this way. However, Annabel knows how to sing. Therefore, Annabel gets away with exactly what she did here. I am a fan. Annabel could get away with punching me in my face even… Okay, enough of my bullshit. Just click below.
