The Garage, House & Bass movement is more serious than what us North Americans might expect. Once you get digging deeper into the clouds Euro stars it becomes quite clear. It’s all of the sounds that have been dominated sound waves for two to three years now, it’s what #Vancouvers own sound has been reaching toward, at least similarly. A new Canadian series makes it’s debut with artists spanning this vast country. At times it does feel like Footwork is a forgotten form. Good to see Canadians keeping yet another genre moving and growing. Of course the Philthkids have a place on the compilation. They may be the West Coasts latest and greatest contribution to Footwork. The release as a whole is made available for a modest seven dollars.
