Back in the day this dude was all over the electro game, might have even first heard of him via Disco Dust. Had some killer remixes back then. More recently however (still kills it) his ‘After Dark’ EP, which is two packed tracks of teeth gritting party noize, real throwback status ishh, is out as of the 4th via Germanys Freakz Me Out Records. Like, Mr. Oizo is in his own category of Electronica. Not just because of the age group he belongs to, but also very much because of the standard he set for offbeat productions with Flat Beat. Not to mention whenever a single remixes surfaces from the bearded of bearded Frenchman I think of his and all the other R.A.G.E. ‘Killing In The Name Of’ remixes that came about during an early to mid two thousand Coachella.

Every other day something left field comes from a something that was forecasted to a T 100%. Pharrell Williams G I R L dropped, remixes were expected yes, what with all the heat on him and more Daft Punk collaborations. The left field in this senario is that Moduloktopus, also one half of The Blunt Sinatras, with whom we have an exclusive dropping with shorty, decided to debut his new House oriented alias, Wigzen.
