Vancouver’s Sleepy Tom, has built a career on defying expectations. From his legendary, chart-topping collaborations like “Be Right There” with Diplo to his genre-blurring pop-infused EPs and recent retro-funk explorations on The Rush. “Desire” feels like a deliberate return to the club underground, crossing between retro funk and UKG.

From another of #Vancouver’s shining stars, Sleepy Tom is this huge feel good Electro / House remix of French Producer Para One. Unfortunetly for me I was not in attendance of this years #Contact2013 but it would have been tremendous to have heard this on such a large scale.

Breach – Jack (Sleepy Tom Bootleg)
Remember Robin Williams in Jack? The stoey of that movie in no way matches the Breach track. Jack was PG-13.. Not alot of body jackin going on there. Not even in a Blink 182 way ;) Speaking toward the production however, body jackin will occur. A dark, full bodied production many a producer would be proud of highly capable of creating a mood.

Sleepy Tom has certainly gained quite a bit of support over the past few months. To show his appreciateion he released Trapeze this Monday past. Be forewarned, the most unorthodox sounds you have yet to hear in trap music (possibly not the best suited genre to accurately describe said tune) are the basis.
