Time to heat this winter up.

First up is Wheathin:

The dude’s the youngest producer to have been picked up by Australia’s Future Classic records – home of some of my favourite producers/artists such as Flume, Chet Faker, etc. He’s putting out bangers and was born in the year 1999. Crazy, right? I couldn’t be more excited to hear what this guy’s got coming up.

You won’t have to listen to these songs for very long to realize why I’m so excited about this kid:

Paul O’Brien aka Wildfire has been making bangers. If you like this one, definitely check out his remix of Alison Wonderland.

My favourite good-times / house duo from NYC. These guys crush every remix they throw down, it’s pretty obvious how they got so popular so quickly. All pop, no stop.

PREMIERE: Tupper Ware Remix Party – The Hit (Whaleskin Remix)

It brings me great joy to be able to bring to you today a first glimpse at a remix crafted by one of my favourite east coast cosmic funk-o-nauts Whaleskin aka Willow Bell. The retrograde remix is of Toronto’s (via Halifax) Tupper Ware Remix Party – a very interesting group, to say the least.

If you’re a fan of funky disco, there is no doubt in my mind that this tune will resonate with you. Hardware synth fanatics rejoice – Willows ability to combine the uniquely genre-bending nature of TWRP’s metal/funk vibes with a head bobbing retro/electro/house scene is very impressive.

Griz – Stop Trippin’ (NGHTMRE Remix)

Griz has been killing it for a few years now. He has reached infamous status across the US – sold out tours, a slew of insane remixes as well as originals under his belt, and of course the infamous sax routine that he brings along for the ride.

Definitely a unique and inspiring producer in an age of blown out repetitive EDM.

To top the madness, NGHTMRE has stepped up to the plate to deliver a hard hitting remix of Griz’s recent “Stop Trippin” single. With enough bass to sink a ship, this flip goes hard. Enjoy the free download! If you’re a fan of either Griz or NGHTMRE this news might come as a pleasant surprise!

SLANDER – Love Again (Ft. WAVZ)

SLANDER first caught my eye when they released that amazing remix of Good Vibrations (see below) – their unique sound and tasteful choice of samples along with clarity of mix and high energy performance struck me at once as a powerful combination. I thought to myself “shit, I should keep an eye on these guys”.

Once again, the LA based duo have impressed me with their unique variety of high-energy, emotion laden bass dance music.

Self-coined “HEAVENTRAP”, the sound is unmistakable – I can see where they’re coming from for sure.
