Out now and providing some seriously strong dance floor vibes right now is “Nightfires Vol.1”, the brand new EP to come from British bass producer Kove.
It’s been a while since we’ve heard a batch of fresh tunes, apart from the odd remix, so to have access to four is awesome. It all starts with “El Camino”, a super powerful yet melodic D&B cut, before moving back to house territory with “Comin’ On Strong”, a collaborative effort with Kideko.
“The Silence” sees a richly atmospheric, instrumental flip back to the throes of drum and bass, before “Altus” ends things on a smoothly grooving deep house note.
This wicked EP can be purchased right here.
SLANDER first caught my eye when they released that amazing remix of Good Vibrations (see below) – their unique sound and tasteful choice of samples along with clarity of mix and high energy performance struck me at once as a powerful combination. I thought to myself “shit, I should keep an eye on these guys”.
Once again, the LA based duo have impressed me with their unique variety of high-energy, emotion laden bass dance music.
Self-coined “HEAVENTRAP”, the sound is unmistakable – I can see where they’re coming from for sure.
Check out their latest ft. WAVZ – I’m sure you’ll love it.

All Good Records are one of the most vibrant up-and coming collective of artists in the country – their roster includes front-man Griz, among other stellar performers such as Manic Focus and the Geek x VRV to say the least.
Most recently having dropped an EP from newcomer Muzzy Bear – the EP touches base on a raw hiphop aesthetic, while still including that bluesy electro feel that Gramatik and other pioneers have perfected over the past years. I have high hopes for their future.
All Good Records isn’t just a label, it’s a family – you can tell.
The Future Classics Collection is a project started to further the artists we support in a release based fashion. This, the second instalment to date focus’ on beat makers with Lo-Fi, Bedroom Beat & Dream Beat tendencies. The lineup includes a number of the clouds known alongside up and comers.

Who doesn’t want to rave it up at a 30 000 person Freetekno party at a refurbished castle in the Loire Valley? If ‘reconnecting with your transcendental roots’ sounds like one hell of a fun time to you, then perhaps one of Sound Strider’s French techno festivals is in order. Until then, you’ll have to settle for this glitchy, IDM-influenced EP which was inspired by the psychedelic culture depicted in Tom Wolfe’s The Electric Kool Aid Acid Test. Stream it here on Soundcloud, and you can download for free or by donation as well.

Cudroid’s take on MORRT’s “It’s So” has a deep overture and all the makings of a classical house track. Yet, Cudroid develops his sound in a more ambient nature to provide a more unique listening experience. Coupled with the raw synths this is a track that should not be missed!
