Having a paroose through the full roster of Chapel Sound is a musically fruitful endeavour. Alongside the collectives wider known talents such as Ekali and Tails, is a long list of up and comers loaded witt potential. Case in point, °Lhasa. Known not only as the primary provider of visuals for many of the crew live events, but also as broadly verse individual with audio in many respects. Fresh to his list of productions is the synth lavish, sharp hitting & atmospheric ‘Chanlum’ .

Future Classics is proud to present the ‘After Midnight’ EP by three of our favourite Vancouverites. The four track EP includes the original production plus three remixes. One of the trio’s fellow Chapel Sound Member °lhasa, Westcoast Culture writer GRLFRNDS, and the third from up and coming Austrian producer Salute.

Earlier released on Future Classics’ 500 likes compilation, the single After Midnight now sees an official release with three remixes from producers Salute, GRLFRNDS, and Lhasa in the form of the After Midnight EP. The original tune features production by Ekali and The Oneiroscopist, with vocals by VZNS.

Future Classics 500 Likes Compilation

Over the course of the year many connections have been made. Internet land is a prime place to connect with people of the same / similar wavelengths. In appreciation of Future Classics support and follower-ship to date we wanted to offer a selection of fresh new material from a handfull of our favourite producers that have infiltrated our earballs. We also snuck in a couple of our more recent finds on the cloud to keep the variety even more so fresh. Give each and ever artist a follow if you like their contribution.

The compilation is available for free download or as for an optional donation to the Red Cross relief efforts in the Philippines.

°lhasa – Slipped and Split

Vancouver based producer °lhasa, released his EP ‘Slipped and Split’ roughly two weeks ago. A release we wish we hadn’t been sleeping so deeply through. Slipped and Split is a smooth relaxing sound of underground. This record lends a true sense of space and time.
