Brian Folk has been a prominent name on our site since it’s conception, a welcome name. A love child name if you will (we wanted him here). Regular readers of our are all knowing of the tight FC listening relationship to 808 hit Hip Hop music. Therefore, this mix volume should come as little no surprise in sound. We don’t fuck around, do what we got to.

Familiarity aside, the mix provided is a such a deliciously smooth eargasm of bedtime beats. Brian Folk don’t fuck around on the regular, even more so when it comes to mixes. AAA game certainly brought so that all listeners would indeed feel something. FC is exremely proud of how this mix turned out, and again, from whom it came.

The three multifaceted band members of the DC aquawave/emo-pop band Misun (pronounced ‘me-sun’) met while working in different capacities at the Dupont Circle bar/restaurant, Science Club in 2010. At the time vocalist Misun Wojcik waitressed part-time, often sharing overlapping shifts with resident DJs William DeVon and Nacey (production). The three soon discovered a common musical bond and began writing and recording in Nacey’s bedroom studio on U Street.
