Aaliyah – One In A Million (A-Minor Remix)

More sensual Deep House from within the Uk’s London. Producer A-Minor shares this affinity for deep and R&B with a great many. What set’s him apart from the pack is what does for all other taste makers out there. Yes kids, that’s right, output output output. Gear your ears for a lil something soft and soulful.

Doja Cat – So High (Kodak To Graph Remix)

Low, deep production from Kodak to Graph meets the beautiful female vocals of Doja Cat in this mix to put on repeat. Shit changes up at 2:30 just when you thought it couldn’t get any better. Support the artists and stop by their media pages:

Cashmere Cat – Rice Rain (Kyross remix)

Cashmere Cat puts together some futuristic imperialistic shit with this beat heavy track, and Kyross ices the cake. When I listen I hear sympathy, victory and nationalism.

Natural High – Fly

The more I listen to Natural High, the more I feel compelled to tell the world about him. Really, I think the name he chose encompasses what he’s trying to do. I first heard of this French producer when I fell upon his remix of Telepopmusik’s “Smile” in 2012 and it struck a chord in me, made me feel sort of like I was listening to a memory. He speaks this truth on his Soundcloud:

“One of the freshest and most gratifying things about making music is that the music that we make is hopefully synonymies with people’s positive memories. Music is the best art form for capturing the emotion of a time period in someone’s life. To think that our music is that to people, and acts as the soundtrack, however long that might be, is rewarding and kind of exciting. A song worth a thousand words and I hope my music will speaks to your mind, body and soul.”

This guy isn’t even signed! Give his stuff a listen when you’re lying on your bed staring up at the ceiling. For those wanting more, good news: he released an EP in 2012 and an LP in 2014 and they’re both gold. Please show your support of this soulful producer by visiting his media pages.

Wave Racer / Ryan Hemsworth – DESTROYED 7″

Ryan Hemsworth and Wave Racer have been having some fun remixing each other lately, putting together a limited edition 7+ vinyl with tracks “Streamers” and “Ryan Must Be Destroyed”.

Vivid, lively & fun, the n64 references are abound and Yoshi is sampled generously. The song feels like something straight out of the game.

I can’t decide which one I like more.

I dunno about you but I want more. What a kickass duo. If you’re hitting up Squamish Valley Music Fest you can look forward to hearing some of Ryan’s amazing new stuff there, and don’t forget to show your support for the artists by liking & following the media below:

Premier: Schoolboy Q – Collard Greens feat. Kendrick Lamar (Slow Graffiti Mega Edit)

BBC Radio 1 and Diplo’s Los Angeles sweetheart Slow Graffiti prepared some Collard Greens using Schoolboy Q’s own recipe that we are proud to share with you today. The occasion is furthered by the news of his first festival date on June 7th at Make Music Pasadena 2014. Within Slow Graffiti’s monthly Legacy podcasts for example, he has showcased a style owned souley by himself. By displaying incredible track selection, catered to his sound, or aesthetic month after month, as well in his various guest mixes. Frankly, the patrons of MMP14 may not be able to hold up under what is sure to be a sure fire set. An individual track won’t paint a Picasso of clear vision, neither will an aged mix, but they will lend a better idea:

Long weekends are a time to party. And the latest venue to enter into the fold of Blueprints.ca know’s this. This May long weekend China Town located Fortune Sound Club welcomes The Gaslamp Killer of Flying Lotus’ Brainfeeder Records.

Once know for un-cconducive sets that would destroy the clubs vibes earning him the name, the Gaslamp Killer (case in point “Killer”), or GLK. Now known further for his endurance in turntableism AND, what audiences would once deem “non flow” Alternative Hip Hop. Featured as one of Fuse’s Crate Diggers with an incredibly eclectic, and at the same time well organized collections, in addition to highlighting some of his better know contributions to the current shape of music both below and above ground. You can expect all things alternative, party, eclectic, just a damn good time.

Trey Songz – Na Na (Stwo Remix)

Stwo resting easy on the top shelf. With big label custom woodwork support from Atlantic Records. It’s funny to see big fish rest their nuts on the “underground” shortly after watching docs talking about such sack placement. Good on Stwo though. #Chedda
