Ryan Hemsworth and Wave Racer have been having some fun remixing each other lately, putting together a limited edition 7+ vinyl with tracks “Streamers” and “Ryan Must Be Destroyed”.
Vivid, lively & fun, the n64 references are abound and Yoshi is sampled generously. The song feels like something straight out of the game.
I can’t decide which one I like more.
I dunno about you but I want more. What a kickass duo. If you’re hitting up Squamish Valley Music Fest you can look forward to hearing some of Ryan’s amazing new stuff there, and don’t forget to show your support for the artists by liking & following the media below:

As one of the only DJ’s hitting up this year’s Squamish Valley Music Fest, Canadian producer Ryan Hemsworth is one to watch in the upcoming year. Following recent LP Guilt Trips (and before than, aptly-named EP Still Awake, which seems to characterize that up-all-night kind of mood), his remix of Lorde’s Ribs is a laid-back melody fit for a catnap under the sun, or a Saturday morning spent cooking breakfast with a lover wearing your T shirt. Here’s hoping.

To date Druture has been the most productive half since the split of Grown Folk, an insatiable House duo who paired in Montreal. There was a hard status to read. Now, based on the simple concept of actively moving and traveling (which brought about the title), Druture assembled a solid slew of artists / homies verse in Hip Hop / Rap for ‘Out Of Towners Vol. 1′ . Featuring both familiar and unknown names the release showcases in sum Dru’s ability to network and produce real Rap music. Resident Advisor got the full scoop in an interview with Druture.

Hemsworth really got on top of this one and gave it a Dre esq. feel. The remix being an exerpt from M A N Remixed which is available in full for free via the Dream Collabo Bandcamp HERE. Green Ova baby.
Everyone’s favourite Friends of Friends dropped this a couple weeks back. ‘Show Me The Future’ is a quick compilation of friends of Friends of Friends. While the album is supposed to be an indicator of sounds to come for 2013, it sounds remarkably similar to the sounds of 2012. Then again, it was released in 2013 so who’s to say these are not the sounds of 2013 :s
