LA based DUX is well into the Future Funk area with his productions. Out of this world new perspective on vocal samples, the funk of course, plus an affinity for the future. Not just the genre, but the time as well. Perhaps it’s the search and unknowing that brings out the best in his productions?

The words “blissed” and “blessed” tend to get over used. Every day there is a dozen plus social media posts using either word. Granted the times or feel may not be felt on this side of the screen, but over saturation does play a part as well. In this case though, of the new Jolin Ras remix, both words definition emanate from the track. Jolin’s musical knowedge and skill combines Chill, Electronic and Jazz elements seamlessly. Summer feels are strong with this one. Jetting in with feels like these is absolutely the right way to lead a debut EP. The Track Burnaz and DB Bantino have worked together prior, and have certainly found a stride together. Plus the co-production with Daniel Russo didn’t hurt at all either. ‘MIA 2 LAX’ , the debut EP, is available on pretty much every digital retailer, and if this track isn’t enough incentive to at least give the release a play then there’s no hope for you. ‘Sky Views’ is available for free download once you realize you must have it ;)

This is how I imagine my life on Jupiter. First off, there are only hoes. None of this “good hard working woman” bullshit. I really could give a fuck about Halsey’s music. Her name reminds me of Halls cough drops and I can never get over it. No matter what I try to do. She has a cool voice and she’s doing her thing but man. The name. I’m a hater like that yo. But what I do like, is The Chainsmokers music. So she gets a pass on their strength with me. I don’t know what these dudes look like, but I do imagine they have long long hair, carry around packs of Marlboro lites and generally eat lots of candy like any soundman or engineer does. If this isn’t the case, I will just keep imagining them this way ;)
Anyhoo, I am going to stop writing cos I just dropped a tab of acid and im starting to get some weeeiirrddd things happening in front of my eyes.
