Fatherdude! So you released an EP! Let’s talk about it! from what U currently gather, this is your first solo effort and you are well on your way to owning many leather-bound book,s since you are so hot right now.Here is a list of really important questions that everyone needs to know about this project! As you know, I am a thorough person, so these are going to be really really pointed to what’s going on in your project. Please do your best to answer them in length and detail.
Before we start, I would like to take the moment to hit people with the link to the album and your tune with Lido and Brasstracks.
1. You are on an island with one person. You are stranded for the rest of your life, but the guy won’t shut the fuck up. What do you do?
- While he’s talking, I’ll close my eyes and go to a magical island in my mind where he is silent.
2. I know you are a big Harley Davidson fan. That being said, what if the only way you can ride a bike down the street is if you had to wear that little black helmet with that tiny spike up on top of it? Do you go out looking like a total S&M lovin’ guy or do you stick to the subway?
- This is why we have unicycles.
3. If you could punch anyone in the face right now who would it be and why?
- Trump. He knows why.
4. Hold the elevator door open for someone running for it, or push the close button hurriedly?
- After learning recently that Australia does not have “close doors” buttons on elevators, I say we must appreciate this resource and use it liberally. #USA
5. If you could fuck an alien, would you do it?
- The Conehead’s daughter was hot.
6. State of emergency just got called publicly in NY. What do you do? Who do you call? What is your plan of escape and how will you survive until you reach whatever type of safety you’ve arranged for yourself?
- Ugh…I should know this… I finally saw Cloverfield.
7. If Trump wins would you consider a trebuchet over the border to Canada?
- I would hope that said trebuchet would be used for said candidate.
8. A cobra bites you in the dick while you’re performing in some tropical cobra riddled paradise. What do you do?!

10. And lastly, if you had any inspirational words for the youngin’ out there aspiring to do this music thing, what would you tell them?
- Worry about the music more than the media.

Wuuuaaaaaahuuuuhhhhaaaabbbaaaddaaa this dub track by Massachusetts producer Jade Cicada wants to stretch my brain through space and time… probably the best Rick & Morty inspired track I’ve heard to date (and I’ve heard a lot). Generalizing his own style as a combination of garage, 8 bit, ambient, glitch, neuro, drum and bass, and hip hop, Jade Cicada’s music seems to emulate a controlled explosion, bursting with layers of intricate details. If wubb got your attention, his collabs are not to be missed! The track below is even free for download!
On repeat as of late is his EP Noms (co-produced with Houston’s schmoop under the name Wonky Llama). Seriously. Listen.

Not long ago I posted a song called “So Low” by newcomer NAWAS on our blog. My expert opinion (based on absolutely no merit by any governing body whatsoever) was that we will be hearing great music consistently from this artist. And so far, I do not have to retract any prediction. I can brag to all my friends like “see ?! told you they was goin do good things! told y’all!” while holding my decaf latté with a half shot of hazelnut. Homie is unapologetic in his approach and delivery and I am all about it. You should be ’bout it too kids.
