Bridge – You Know (Prod. by Handbook)

Modern Filth has been pleasantly active lately. Not just with their mix series but with releases as well. LA’s Bridge keeping Monday alive by letting loose a heart throb Alt R&B bad bitch chune. Modern Filth / Filthy Fortune Records is going to have my eyes fixated for a minute I expect.

Matt Tolfrey – The Spooks feat. Kevin Knapp (Elliot Adamson Remix)

Darker than his earlier works that made it across the pond a few months ago, but undeniably House just the same. Elliot Adamson did indeed flip it and make it his own. The remix is in mid contest so go support HERE.

Kid Vibe – Momentum EP

Okay, Kid Vibe is churning out new material incredibly fast. How many months did he spend producing and archiving? ‘Momentum’ is the #Vancouver based Deep and House producers debut CONNECT:D release. ‘Momentum’ does the standout thing opening the enthralling bass line propelled release.

Patrick Alavi – Come 2 Me (Chesto Remix)

FC contributor Chesto came out with a crazy funky number the other day. Pretty well out of nowhere given that his last upload was “about 1 year ago” , thank you Soundcloud.. Says he did the remix to bring back some summer / beach lady vibes. Good call bro, good call.

Strange Talk – Young Hearts (The Chainsmokers Remix)

There’s no question that The Chainsmokers have taste of the top shelf. This is clear in the remix repertoire they have built over time. Building as they have in what appears to have been a relatively short period of time points to a solid work ethic. A standard setting work ethic. Free mix, free remix, enjoy.

Slow Graffiti – VI EP

Said this earlier, in about January, but this year has been absoultely buck for LA’s Slow Graffiti. What brings me back round to this point once again is his latest EP, ‘VI’ . A release which has garnered the attention of Mad Decent’s big head, Diplo. In his Diplo & Friends AAA mix which was comprised entirely of unsigned artists music, two Slow Graffiti tracks made the cut, ‘You’ from the recent Club Stream released ‘VI’ EP , and ‘Hey’ from last years ‘Los Angeles’ EP. Both works are available for purchase on Beatport, but ‘VI’ has only recetly been made available for full stream on Soundcloud.

Look for his new Legacy Podcast coming this Friday featuring Ekali.

Aero Chord – New Breed Pt. I EP

High Intensity Records dropped something a tad heavy last week. This is a “in case you missed it” . In an attempt to push the enevelope the Knife Party influenced artist may just have sent the postal service into it’s final days, single handedly. The hard hitting infusion of Trap, Electro & Dubstep attracted the attention of Your EDM all to fittingly, as Aero Chords influences are in fact “EDM Festival girls with hipster glasses and tattoos” , something Your EDM knows all to well about. It should go without saying that Knife Party fans will be pleased upon a listen.

Skibblez – Know About It

As I’m writing this, there’s snow on the ground outside and it’s currently -2˚C. Although it may be cold, every time I’ve listened to Skibblez’ newest track, all the snow magically melts away and it’s just like I’m in the middle of summer. Sampled from Kool & The Gang’s “In The Heart”, the track features beautiful, crisp drums and a perfect mix of French house style filters. The best part of it all? It’s a free download. Also be sure to check out the rest of his stuff on SoundCloud, as all of it is absolutely awesome.
