Amongst a selection of 10 Vancouver artists to get high to by THUMP, although now living in Alberta, Kline is one of Western Canada’s leaders in bass music. Though active production, gigging and even attendance of Red Bull 2014 Bass Camp he has been steadily earning name recognition. ‘Know Where’ is his latest free offering after his ‘Mirror’ EP out now on Low Indigo.

Festival hype is in full swing here in Western Canada, contests, lineups, time off requests, the whole bit. Homebreakin‘s Neighbor going as far as calling out tracks for his morning set in the Fractal Forest of Shambhala:

I met Gisto, one of Western Canada’s finest dancehall / reggae artists, around 2007 when I was spending alot of time in the Kootenays. He played in a seminal interior jam band called Wasabi Collective with Melissa Meretsky, another great pal. This is an original of his that I just happened to hear at his studio, and a quick request for the vocal yielded these results. Western Canada’s favourite martian has assembled all his Bass explorers for the launch of RGR’s compilation series. “..a collection of songs from Canadian artists spanning many Genres Tempos and Styles of Bass Music taking the listener on a journey through sound.” RGR#7 is available now only in stream form with the all out download / purchase on the fourteenth of April. Antennas, whiskers, and any other external body receptors best be kept clean as to avoid major clogging from future Bass input.
