Rain Man – Bring Back The Summer (INSTRUM Remix) ft. Oly

Remember Rain Man’s split with Krewella? Remember that? hey?

Weeeelllll that is long over and homie is doing the music thing again!!

AND the good lad INSTRUM just laced up this wavy remix of “Bring Back The Summer”  feat. Oly and it’s fuckin’ badass. The track really takes a crazy compositional step near the last quarter as well. I am a fan of this dude’s production. He is pushing that extra 10 percent on the track and I can hear it.  Make sure to go here and VOTE AND SUPPORT. http://bit.ly/1MVnim7

Yes this does make a difference, and yes you count . you are a snowflake. you are special and your hair is like the ocean. – but really though, the artists we appreciate need our support, so all these extra few seconds to click here and there, make all their countless years of clicking on other things to bring us these songs, worth it.

NAWAS – So Low

You want to know what originality sounds like? Well fear not kids! I got you once again!

NAWAS

These Nashville transplants / Louisiana natives are making noise in the circles of majors as well as indies and random fans such as my weird ass self. You know what they’re doing right? (that so many of you musicians are just NOT doing and sending me submissions, only to be cut down with a comment like, “yo why the hell did it take you a minute and a half to get to something catchy and strong!?”) THE SONG STARTS STRONG!! AS STRONG AS MY FATHER’S HANDS! As soon as you click play you’ll know what I am talking about. Dope simple synth and drum intro that jumps right into the hook. You see kids, this is good songwriting. I am definitely going to be keeping an eyeball and ear out.

Shouts out to the producer Sainte and songwriter Luke Foley. Great work fellas.

LABS – Brave

This last week Canada saw the Juno Awards take place, Drake finally becoming interesting and LABS introduce us to their new track ‘Brave‘.  Only one of those things I actually gave a shit about.  You See.. LABS debut single ‘Down‘ has been moving people, and their followup looks like its doing much the same.  ‘Brave‘ is a perfectly low-key chill out track which still holds a momentum that you’d expect form a synth-pop band.  Lindsay Bryan sings her ass off perfectly within the instrumental and briefly contrasts a synth line that appears only once but will give you a nosebleed (in a good way).

Konrad OldMoney feat. Sleep Steady – RAGE

Sometimes you just want to throw your video game controller at the screen, curse out your mom, call your dad some names and punch your baby sister in her annoying little scrunchy face. Below is the perfect soundtrack for such things!!

Sleep Steady and Konrad OldMoney are providing the second song off of the new EA Sports UFC2 video game, to all you teen angst riddled, broken family having video game players out there. Get your morning pump on by brainwashing yourself with Konrad’s one of a kind approach to music production. Proud to have this guy hail from Canada to help push brave new music out to the world, and excited to hear what else he has up his sleeve.

CHCKLK – Rising Up

Another chill hangover morning for me! YAYYYY!!!

So given that my head feels like a bunch of homeless people spent the night in there, here is some love from CHCKLK . Perfect soundtrack to the stumble adventure through the kitchen on the way to the Brita.

and since I feel like I am dying, here is some wisdom from the artist about that very topic

As he puts it, ‘Rising Up’ is “an observation of people’s readiness to die.”

Nouveau Wave Music might be right up your alley kids. Check em out too.

Put It On – Jedi (Instrumental)

You know what I can’t fucking stand with the kids doing the music these days? Well not much of it has variety in it’s acoustic landscape. It’s like Walmart just shit itself and all these producers fell out. Yeah there is cool stuff but it’s all approached in the same fucking fashion. Whatever happened to having your mixing techniques speak for you? And having some sort of narrative to your music. only a few of these hamsters out there doin it like that right now.  erryone else just piggybackin. So I stumble across this kid Jedi. And judging by what is happening in this instrumental, it just sounds like he is the type of dude to bring you a birthday cake to a korean bbq spot in the middle of December holidays like it ain’t no thing. Meaning, homie is doing his thing and I fucks wit it. Check it out beeches.

KAMM & KUJE – Houston

Hawaiian island brethrend KAMM & KUJE join forces in high bmp Footwork fashion to pay homage to Whitney Houston. ‘Houston’ isn’t for the faint at heart, or those with heart problems, nor susceptibility to bass induced seizures. Consider that your warning and double it as the hype, then cop a copy for your next night out.
