It’s been years since Don Hertzfeldt animation has been a part of my life. So long so that the imagery of Asami Ike took me back to a place with spoons that were just too big. Floating animals from every group sleepily drift though what appears to be space. This imagery is also offered through the perspective of the Milenium Falcons cockpit. This is no asteroid..
Vancouver’s very own Swagbot comes at us with the video for his 80’s electro influenced track “Forest Child”. Far from an 80’s electro inspired video and more of an acid trip induced stream-of-consciousness journey through Metro Vancouver, the video pulls you into the track and constantly makes you say to yourself “what’ll happen next?”.
